Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by the Picscut team to explain what we collect, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we are
Picscut ("we", "us") operates this website and the image editing tools available on it. You can reach us at support@picscut.app for any privacy question or request.
2. Information we collect
- Images you edit. Files you open in the editor, for the purpose of producing your edited result.
- Account information. If you buy a plan, we store your email address and subscription status so you can sign in.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive a transaction reference and status; we never see or store your full card details.
- Usage and device data. Standard technical information such as browser type, approximate region and pages visited, used to keep the service reliable.
- Messages you send us. The contents of support emails, kept so we can answer you.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the editing tools and deliver your exported files.
- To create and maintain paid accounts and process renewals or refunds.
- To diagnose faults, prevent abuse and improve performance.
- To respond to support requests and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your images to advertise to you.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the service you asked for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5. Retention
Working files are kept only as long as needed to complete the edit you requested and are then discarded. Account and billing records are retained for as long as the account exists and afterwards only where law requires it. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months.
6. Sharing and third parties
We share data only with service providers who help us operate: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and — where enabled — advertising and analytics partners such as Google. Each processes data under its own terms. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. See our Cookie Policy for detail and opt-out links.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
- Request portability of data you provided to us.
Email support@picscut.app to exercise any of these. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Picscut is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email.
